Rodgers Leads Steelers Past Colts 34-22
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Indianapolis Colts 34-22, led by Aaron Rodgers’ three touchdown passes after Pittsburgh’s previous-week loss. One of Rodgers’ touchdown passes covered at least 80 yards, his ninth career scoring pass of that distance, tying Ben Roethlisberger’s NFL record; Rodgers also reached 580 career touchdown passes and has thrown at least three in three consecutive games. Daniel Jones completed 24 of 44 passes for 267 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and added four rushing yards as Indianapolis repeatedly failed to finish drives. The Colts scored only once, on Tyler Warren’s one-yard run, and Spencer Shrader made five field goals; Indianapolis went 1-for-3 in the red zone and converted four of 15 third downs despite gaining 332 total yards. Jones, who has three touchdown passes and four interceptions through five games, and the 2-3 Colts will look to improve against the winless Titans in Week 6.
