Texans’ Al-Shaair Returns, Tank Dell Out vs. Titans

Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is expected back against Tennessee after missing one game with a groin injury, bolstering a defense that has struggled early. Receiver Tank Dell will not play as he continues recovering from a serious knee injury, though Houston has opened his practice window to return from injured reserve. Texans edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. showed improvement in practice, while several other Houston players were also being monitored for injuries. For Tennessee, defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons returned to limited practice after a day described as maintenance, but safety Amani Hooker remained out while in concussion protocol.
