Thordon Bearings Opens Third Burlington Production Plant

Thordon Bearings has opened a third manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario, to meet growing demand, increase production capacity, shorten lead times and support product development. The plant will make TG100 water-lubricated mechanical seals and water-quality packages for marine and hydropower customers, and will house the company’s product-development team and sister company Marsh Brothers Aviation. The expansion frees space at the company’s headquarters and supports continued hiring; Thordon’s workforce has grown 32% since the end of 2023.
