Titans 0-5; Saleh Rejects Wholesale Changes

The Tennessee Titans fell to 0-5 after a 26-3 loss to Houston, with turnovers, poor protection and an ineffective offense contributing to what coach Robert Saleh called a team-wide step backward. Tennessee is averaging an NFL-low 11.6 points per game, and Saleh said the offense is still searching for an identity; he cautioned against sweeping changes, arguing the priority is building a foundation and improving. Saleh also challenged players to respond to adversity and said the remaining games will help determine who stays with the team as it tries to turn things around. The franchise’s struggles extend beyond this season: an analysis found Tennessee is 6-33 since the start of 2024 and would need six wins over its next 29 games through 2027 to avoid the worst four-year record since the 1966 NFL merger.
