Trail Projects, Plans Span Multiple Communities

Communities and agencies are planning and maintaining trail networks through public input and on-the-ground work. Horry County is seeking feedback on a master plan that would connect Conway and Myrtle Beach and identify other links to schools, parks and services. In Virginia, the Department of Conservation and Recreation is inviting comments on an updated Wilderness Road State Park master plan, while the Copper River Valley association and trails club plan to clear, trim and resurface public multi-use trails. Olympic Discovery Trail users should expect a short closure between the 10th and 18th Street entrances for root removal and repaving, as well as nearby soil testing for a proposed water-main replacement project.
