Icelandair to Launch Seasonal St. Louis Flights

Icelandair will launch seasonal nonstop flights between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Keflavík International Airport on May 14, 2027, operating three to four times weekly through Oct. 24. St. Louis will become the airline's 16th U.S. gateway. Icelandair plans to use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, and round-trip fares have appeared online at about $500. Connections to Iceland and Europe will be available, including itineraries combined with Southwest Airlines flights through the carriers' partnership. The service restores a St. Louis–Iceland link previously operated briefly by the now-defunct WOW Air and adds to Lambert's expanding international network. Rated coverage was 1 left, 4 center, and 0 right. The seasonal schedule is set to begin in May 2027.
