Troy Doubles Pair Reaches ITA Regional Quarterfinals

Troy men’s tennis competed at the ITA Regionals in Auburn, with several Trojans posting wins in the qualifying singles draw before being eliminated in later rounds. Ryusei Miyazato and Louis Boilevin each won twice, while Til Zimmermann, Lenny Galley, Henrique de Brito and Thiago Drozdowski also recorded opening-round victories; Stephan Tavares Noale retired from his second match because of an injury. Troy began doubles play on day three, and multiple pairs won early-round matches, but Miyazato and Galley, Luciano Alcocer and Gabriel Garay, and Boilevin and de Brito fell short in the round of 16. Alcocer and Garay were among the Trojans who advanced furthest in doubles, after victories over Mississippi pairs.
