Two-Alarm Fires Draw Dozens of Firefighters

A chimney fire at a home on Greenbush Road in Charlotte, Vermont, escalated to a second-alarm structure fire early Saturday. Flames spread through the attic to the roof and multiple rooms before crews brought the fire under control. More than 50 firefighters from seven departments responded, and all occupants evacuated safely; no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation, though officials do not consider the fire suspicious.
