Two Men Arrested in Separate Assaults

Bangor police arrested Benjamin Brigman, 24, of Presque Isle, after responding to a report that a man was throwing rocks at a vehicle outside a Main Street restaurant on Oct. 7. A woman told police the man continued throwing objects and struck her in the torso. Officers found Brigman behaving erratically, and he allegedly fled when ordered to stop before being apprehended. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest or detention; reports said he remained in jail at least through Thursday.
