Two US shootings kill 14, including children
Two shootings in Georgia and Pennsylvania within hours of each other left 14 people dead, including the suspected gunmen, according to authorities. In Erie, Pennsylvania, eight victims—including two children and a pregnant woman—were killed before the 45-year-old suspect died by suicide; police said seven victims were related to him and that there was no ongoing threat to the public. In Douglas, Georgia, four people were killed in a household shooting before the suspected gunman also died. Authorities had not established a motive in either incident.
