Two Women Die in Separate Fire Explosions
Two women died after separate fires involving combustible materials. In Newport, Wales, 32-year-old mother of four Katie Marshall suffered burns to roughly half her body when a paint canister in a rubbish bag exploded after she put the bag on a garden fire; she died after weeks of treatment, and an inquest has been adjourned until 2027. In Prescott Valley, Arizona, 58-year-old Tammy Dodson died 10 days after her boyfriend allegedly poured gasoline onto a fire pit, triggering an explosion that engulfed her in flames. Families remembered both women as deeply loved, and Dodson’s relatives urged people never to pour gasoline or other ignition sources onto fires.
