Universal Orlando plans Blumhouse horror-show return

Universal Orlando has announced that its revamped Universal Horror Make-Up Show at Universal Studios Florida will be titled Universal Horror Make-Up Show Featuring Blumhouse. The live production is expected to trace more than a century of film special effects, from Universal’s classic monsters to contemporary Blumhouse horror. The previous show, known for makeup demonstrations, comedy and audience participation, closed in May 2026 for the reimagining. Universal has not announced a reopening date, though it previously said the new production was expected in winter 2026.
