Utility Work, Collision Close Roads Across Regions

Road closures and traffic restrictions are affecting several communities as crews carry out infrastructure work and emergency response. In Joliet, phased Water Street closures will support utility relocation ahead of the I-80 bridge reconstruction, with the work sequence expected to take 12 to 16 weeks. Tampa and Lower Gornal have temporary restrictions for water maintenance and repairs, while St. Cloud is closing different streets in its Lake George neighborhood on separate days for water-service replacement. Highway 11 near Tilden Lake is closed in both directions after a serious collision, and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
