She was 13. “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the couple said in a statement to People published Sept. 29, describing the teen as a "loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance. Lowe and Painter—who also share daughters Mabel Painter, 17, and Nixie Barbara, 10—went on to express that Fiona had a special bond with her entire family. “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” their statement continued. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.” Noting that Fiona's passing was "devastating" and asking "for prayers and privacy at this time," Lowe and Painter added, "If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.” Chad Lowe is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe.
