In this episode, we follow the first day of painting as our painters prime the entire exterior and begin applying the first coats of color. Seeing the warm, blush-toned ochre appear against the white plaster was one of those renovation moments that made us stop and realize just how far this old water mill has come. But there is plenty more happening behind the scenes. We head into town to deal with yet another piece of paperwork for our Portuguese habitation license, visit a local quarry to choose granite for our upcoming landscaping and paving work, and catch up with a local farmer, and friend, who is working on regenerative land and water management in the Monchique mountains. And while this episode is filled with an exciting renovation milestone, we're also sharing a little more honestly about what's been happening behind the scenes in our lives lately — including some difficult losses and the challenges of caring for our cat Baby during her treatment. This has been one very long adventure, and we're getting closer and closer to the "finish line"... sorta 🥰 Thank you for being here and following along with our renovation of this very special home ❤️ ► Subscribe for a new video every single Sunday: https://bit.ly/3fW095N ► Sign up for our weekly(ish) Newsletter: http://eepurl.com/bn13VD Where we get our music 🎶: http://epidemicsound.com/referral/x7uwj3 ► JOIN US ON OUR SOCIALS: https://www.instagram.com/mrandmrsadventure https://www.instagram.com/heradventure FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/mrmrsadventure/ TikTik: https://www.tiktok.com/@mrandmrsadventure Our blog: http://www.mrandmrsadventure.com Our Amazon Affiliate Shop organized all nice for ya: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mrandmrsadventure ► CAMERA GEAR: ORIGINAL VLOGGING CAMERA: https://amzn.to/2DZo3M2 UPGRADED VLOGGING CAMERA: https://amzn.to/3GmGqJm MAIN VLOGGING LENS: https://amzn.to/40ITvoo GOPRO: https://amzn.to/40ITDnS DRONE: https://amzn.to/3nF5THl ALL OTHER PHOTO/VIDEO GEAR: https://amzn.to/2PzrwSJIs As always, we are so grateful to have you joining us on our journey here and we appreciate all your support ♡ #offgrid #Restoration #Portugal
