Walmart Recalls 4.4 Million Wire-Bristle Grill Brushes

Walmart is recalling about 4.48 million Expert Grill metal-wire grill brushes sold in stores and online from January 2021 through August 2026. The recall covers five models with black plastic or stainless-steel handles, some equipped with a metal scraper. Bristles can break off and stick to food or the grill, creating an ingestion hazard that could cause serious internal injuries and require surgery. Consumers should stop using the brushes and contact Walmart for a refund or store credit; no injuries or incidents have been reported. The recall is part of a wider wave of grill-brush recalls over the risk of loose metal bristles.
