Americans Expected to Fall Back November 1
Much of the United States is scheduled to set clocks back one hour on Nov. 1, 2026, while the United Kingdom and Ukraine make their autumn clock changes in late October. Several Canadian provinces and territories have stopped seasonal clock changes, and their differing choices to keep daylight time or standard time year-round are reshaping time-zone boundaries and causing confusion, including around Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. Hawaii, most of Arizona, and U.S. territories do not observe daylight saving time; the Navajo Nation does observe it in parts of Arizona. Efforts to end the twice-yearly time change in the United States have not changed the schedule, and the practice remains contested over its benefits and disruptions.
