Wizards Rally Past Pistons 114-108 in Overtime

The Washington Wizards beat the Detroit Pistons 114-108 in a preseason game after building a 20-point lead and weathering Detroit’s comeback. Washington’s fast start was fueled by Tre Johnson, who scored 15 points and hit his first four 3-pointers, while Trae Young had eight assists in the opening quarter. Anthony Davis recorded his first double-double in a Wizards uniform, with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The game grew choppy after halftime, and Young and Detroit’s Daniss Jenkins were ejected following double technicals.
