Women’s Golf Teams Compete Across Three Collegiate Tournaments

Illinois State and Troy are among the teams competing at Arkansas State’s Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Country Club, where the Redbirds aim to build on a third-place finish and Troy returns after a month off following a strong start to its season. UNCG will play in Wofford’s Terrier Collegiate in Spartanburg, South Carolina, after placing second at the Pirate Collegiate; the Spartans’ recent standouts include senior Kasey McIlvaine, who won that event. Tarleton State heads to the 19-team Golf Iconic Classic in New Mexico for its penultimate fall tournament, with freshman Mortensen coming off a seventh-place finish and her second conference golfer-of-the-week honor of the season.
