Lions Open Practice Window for Branch, Mays
The Lions opened a 21-day practice window for safety Brian Branch, recovering from an Achilles tear, and center Cade Mays, who injured his wrist in training camp; either could be activated during that period, though practicing does not mean they will play immediately. Branch’s return could help a struggling Detroit defense, while Mays offers another option on an offensive line that has used Juice Scruggs in his absence.
