Purdy Tops MVP Odds, 49ers Reach 5-0
Brock Purdy moved ahead of Josh Allen as the betting favorite for NFL MVP after leading the 49ers to a 32-29 comeback win over Seattle and a 5-0 start. Though Purdy had a relatively modest game by his early-season standards, his overall production and San Francisco’s unbeaten record have strengthened his candidacy, while Allen still has a chance to respond.
