LatestComstock closed a sale of its legacy mining, processing and related real estate assets to Mackay Precious Metals for more than $45 million, receiving $20 million in cash plus 2 million Mackay shares and a 1.5% NSR on retained production, while Mackay assumed reclamation liabilities and related obligations; Comstock expects a $10–$12 million gain with no cash taxes. The deal advances Comstock’s transformation toward renewable metals, improves liquidity, reduces company-wide costs, and provides upside through equity in Mackay and potential contingent payments, including a second-tranche payment due within 18 months.Aug 24, 2026
