About Dagny Haraldsen
Sonja is a member of the Norwegian royal family. She was Queen of Norway from 1991 to 2026 as the wife of King Harald V and was Norway's first queen consort since Maud of Wales, who died in 1938. Following the death of her husband, Sonja became queen mother.
