Rare Shelby GT350 and Low-Mileage Viper Models Head to Auction
Rare and modified American performance vehicles are drawing collector and enthusiast interest at auction, including a low-mileage 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible, a one-off 1992 Ford F-150 Nite Edition show truck, and a 29,000-mile 1998 Dodge Viper GT2. Two more listings span eras and tastes: a low-mileage 2015 Viper SRT GTC and a heavily twin-turbo-modified Shelby Super Snake Sport, whose changes may limit its appeal to stock-focused collectors.

About Dodge Viper
The Dodge Viper is an American sports car that was manufactured by Dodge, a division of American car manufacturer Chrysler. First showcased in 1989 at the North American International Auto Show as a interpretative concept car of a modern-era AC Cobra, production of the two-seat sports car later began at New Mack Assembly Plant in 1991 and moved to Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in October 1995. Five generations of the Viper were developed from 1991 until 2017, with a brief hiatus in 2007 and between 2011 and 2012.
