JCPenney closed its Ross Park Mall store in Pittsburgh after nearly 40 years, saying it could not renew the lease or find another suitable location. The closure leaves three stores in the Pittsburgh area and is part of the retailer’s plan to shutter about 150 underperforming locations through 2026.
