Shin Wins Scottish Open, Ends Title Drought

Shin Ji-eun and Lauren Coughlin shot 66 to lead the ISPS Handa Scottish Open after a wind-affected first round at Dundonald Links, with Shin excelling on the par-5s and using a 58-degree wedge to capitalize on opportunities. Korea’s A Lim Kim sits one back in third, while world No. 1 Nelly Korda and others sit well off the pace as players adapt to firmer, drier conditions.
