SEC Seeks $3 Million Judgment Against Leech
The SEC is seeking court approval of a consent judgment requiring former Western Asset co-CIO Ken Leech to pay a $3 million penalty and face securities-industry restrictions over an alleged trade-allocation scheme that steered gains to favored clients and losses to others; Leech did not admit the allegations. Combined with Western Asset’s $100 million settlement, the resolutions are expected to provide $103 million in relief to affected investors.
