NVIDIA Jetson GPUs Planned for Lunar Rover
Nvidia’s Jetson chips will power Lunar Outpost’s next lunar rover, potentially marking the first GPU on the Moon by handling LiDAR data and autonomous navigation in extreme space conditions. NASA’s Artemis-era push invites private firms to map terrain and search for resources, with Lunar Outpost and partners like Intuitive Machines and Firefly Aerospace planning Falcon 9 launches this year to advance Moon missions, including studying Reiner Gamma.
