Cocaine Ring Led by Abbatiello at Penn State

A Pennsylvania attorney general charged 14 people in a cocaine-trafficking ring tied to two Penn State fraternities, focusing on off-campus houses where drugs were packaged and distributed to students from 2023 to 2024; two leaders, Agostino Abati (Sigma Chi) and Thomas Robinson (Delta Upsilon), allegedly directed operations with pledges involved in packaging, while a non-student helped conceal evidence. The case prompted university suspensions, additional hazing prevention efforts, and ongoing investigations, with charges spanning felonies for corrupt organizations and conspiracy and misdemeanors for possession and paraphernalia.
