Weight of Words Reported Exploring Ordinary Legacies
Ivan C. Devall’s new book, The Weight of Words: Stories that Linger, is a 21-essay collection rooted in the American South that blends memoir, history, and narrative to explore how ordinary lives shape memory, faith, and legacy across eras and places. Accompanied by Preston L. Craig’s pen-and-ink drawings, the book aims to illuminate the enduring impact of character across generations and invites readers to reflect on their own histories.
