Stanton Wins Arizona CD4 Democratic Primary
Stanton won the Democratic primary in Arizona’s 4th District, fending off Kai Newkirk and securing a general election matchup against Republican Zuhdi Jasser, while critics highlighted Stanton’s pro-Israel stance and ties to business groups. The contest illustrated intra-party tensions between moderates and the progressive left, with Newkirk’s challenges to Stanton’s corporate donations and AIPAC-supported positions, though Stanton remains favored to win in the blue district.
