Amazon expands delivery services in Australia, North Dakota
Amazon’s new delivery stations in Bismarck and Williston are expanding next-day package service across western North Dakota, with deliveries reaching communities within roughly 50 miles of each site. Packages arrive from the Twin Cities overnight; the Bismarck station currently handles about 4,000 a day and has mechanical capacity for 12,000, while Williston aims to process 3,500 daily soon and as many as 5,000 during the holidays. Both facilities are adding workers and delivery associates to prepare for peak season. Amazon says the Bismarck station’s direct deliveries from fulfillment centers will cut delivery times, while the Williston site could also extend service into eastern Montana.
