American Adds Three Daily South Bend–O’Hare Flights
American Airlines has replaced its Landline motorcoach connection between South Bend International Airport and Chicago O’Hare with three daily round trips on 65-seat CRJ-700 regional jets. The 84-mile service restores direct flights and gives travelers another way to connect through O’Hare, supplementing American’s existing South Bend flights to Dallas-Fort Worth and Charlotte. The change also adds competition on the route, where United already operates service, and increases American’s daily seat capacity despite fewer departures than the bus service offered.
