Anchorage Digital acquires Routable, plans stablecoin payouts
Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered U.S. digital-asset bank, has acquired corporate payments platform Routable for an undisclosed amount. Routable automates business payouts, including recipient onboarding, payment routing, reconciliation, tax and compliance workflows, and serves customers in more than 220 countries and territories. The acquisition pairs Anchorage’s regulated custody, issuance and settlement infrastructure with payment rails already used by corporate finance teams, aiming to let businesses move between conventional currencies and digital assets through familiar systems. Anchorage plans to add stablecoin and tokenized-deposit settlement to Routable in the coming quarters, alongside fiat payments. The business will be renamed Routable by Anchorage Digital, and the companies say the combined offering is intended to serve both existing customers and larger firms adopting digital assets.
