Bishop's 220-yard, three-TD game powers Tennessee past Auburn

Tennessee running back DeSean Bishop rushed for a career-high 220 yards and three touchdowns in the Volunteers’ 24-14 win over Auburn. Bishop said the game was personal because Auburn coach Alex Golesh had been among the reasons he started at Tennessee as a walk-on rather than receiving a scholarship, and he wanted Auburn to feel what it had missed. Tennessee leaned on Bishop after changing quarterbacks, while Golesh attributed Auburn’s defensive struggles to missed tackles and failures to win at the line and fill gaps.
