Dolly Parton Hotel, Museum Open in Nashville
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Life of Many Colors Museum have opened in downtown Nashville, creating a destination centered on her music, career, family, philanthropy and personal history. The hotel has 240 rooms and suites, dining and live entertainment, while the museum spans more than 20,000 square feet and features memorabilia and stories from Parton’s childhood through her career. Parton was closely involved in developing both projects, and the opening ceremony included children connected to her Imagination Library. WSMV reports the venue opened after Parton’s death in August, and says museum tickets were already selling out, with visitors planning return trips.
