Fireworks Displays Expected Across Three Regions

Fireworks displays are returning in several communities: Capitola’s annual Monte Foundation Extravaganza is set for Saturday over the beach and village, with a free public event and a live stream. Naples approved bringing its New Year’s Eve show back to Dec. 31 after moving it to Jan. 3 this year and canceling the prior year; the planned display will feature about 3,000 shots, with officials citing added police staffing and updated safety planning. In Bury St Edmunds, a Nov. 7 fireworks night at Abbey Gardens will pair the display with movie music and raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
