Human Remains Found in Reading Home; Investigation Ongoing

Reading police are investigating after the owner of a recently purchased property in the 500 block of South Sixth Street found what appeared to be human remains on Friday, Oct. 2. A deputy county coroner confirmed the remains were human. Police say the investigation is ongoing and the incident appears isolated, with no threat to the public reported.
