Job fairs target thousands across Korea, US
Several upcoming job fairs aim to connect employers with job seekers, with services ranging from on-site interviews to career counseling and AI-assisted matching. In Michigan, the Genesee Intermediate School District is recruiting for teaching, support, transportation, technology and other roles, with interviews available at its Flint career fair. In South Korea, North Gyeongsang Province and Gyeongil University brought together about 26 regional companies and 1,000 foreign students for career consultations, hiring matches and guidance on visas and residency. Seoul’s Guro District plans a Nov. 5 fair featuring interviews with small and midsize employers, job-search support and follow-up matching for participants who remain unemployed. Gwanak District’s hybrid fair combines in-person interviews and AI-based job recommendations with an online portal offering listings and AI-assisted career tools.
