Linkin Park Documentary Chronicles Return After Bennington
The documentary “Linkin Park: Unshatter” chronicles the band’s grief and uncertainty after singer Chester Bennington died in 2017, using early studio footage and conversations to show how members weighed whether—and how—to continue. Mike Shinoda says he stayed open to different possibilities rather than assuming a reunion would retain the Linkin Park name, use one vocalist, or follow the sound of Bennington’s performances. After meeting Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara in 2019, Shinoda urged her to meet the band; she later joined as co-lead vocalist. Linkin Park returned in 2024 with Armstrong, releasing “From Zero” and launching a new series of world tours.
