San Jose police entered a nearly full screening at AMC Saratoga 14 with guns drawn Saturday night after receiving a report of a person waving a weapon in Theater 13. Officers stopped the movie, turned on the lights and ordered patrons to raise their hands while they approached a man matching the description. He was questioned and released; police found no weapon, and no one was injured. Witnesses described being frightened by the armed response, and several left the theater fearing a shooting.
