Police probe robberies, break-ins across five counties

Authorities are investigating several recent break-ins and thefts at gas stations and tobacco or vape shops across Kentucky, Vermont, North Carolina and Missouri. In Boyd County, Kentucky, a person was arrested in connection with a reported robbery at Casey’s Stop, though officials have not released further details. Vermont State Police say two people broke into a Waitsfield Valero and stole cigarettes and 56 vape pens, and are seeking information about the suspects. In Craven County, North Carolina, deputies are trying to identify three people accused of breaking into VIP Tobacco Vape and stealing items. Ozark County, Missouri, deputies are also seeking information about a masked suspect in a White Oak gas station burglary.
