Tesla Plans First Cybercab Display in Europe
Tesla will display its steering-wheel- and pedal-free, two-seat Cybercab at the Paris Motor Show from October 12 to 18, its first official showing of the vehicle in Europe; visitors can test-drive other Tesla models equipped with Full Self-Driving, but not ride in the Cybercab. The appearance showcases Tesla’s ambitions to expand its robotaxi business beyond the United States, though a potential European rollout around 2027 depends on regulatory approval and technical readiness. Separately, a growing Cybercab fleet in Houston—where Tesla already offers robotaxi rides in Model Ys—has fueled speculation that the city could be the next market for Cybercab service after Austin, although Tesla has not announced a launch there. The Paris display and Houston sightings point to expanding activity around the program, but neither establishes when or where Cybercabs will enter commercial service beyond Austin.
