Three rollover crashes send people to hospitals
Several vehicle-overturn crashes resulted in people being taken to hospitals. Near Tarporley, England, a driver was freed from a car that overturned on the A49 and taken to Warrington Hospital; the road remained closed. In Columbia, Missouri, a cyclist was trapped beneath an overturned vehicle on Business Loop 70 near Bowling Street, rescued by firefighters and taken to a trauma center; the crash briefly closed part of the road, and the cyclist’s injuries were not specified. In Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, a woman was taken to Peterborough City Hospital after a vehicle overturned on Newark Avenue. A local councillor cited other recent serious collisions and called for average-speed cameras in areas with persistent speeding.
