Vinci Raises $250 Million at $1.5B Valuation
Vinci4D Inc. on October 6, 2026 closed a $250 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation, co-led by Advent, Temasek and Xora. AMD Ventures, Madrona, Eclipse and Khosla Ventures participated. The Palo Alto company makes AI physics simulation software for hardware engineers, initially targeting thermal, thermo-mechanical and convective fluid behavior in chips, memory modules and interconnects. Continuous Physics Reasoning combines automated design understanding, agentic orchestration, a Foundation Model for Physics and GPU-native physics kernels. Vinci says the platform analyzes designs from hundreds of millions to more than 15 billion degrees of freedom in minutes rather than hours or days. Co-founder and CEO Hardik Kabaria said, "Vinci is starting by giving engineers the ability to understand physical behavior while they are still designing." The company is building toward systems that identify what should change and help engineers create what they could not create before. Brian Amick of AMD, Alek Ferro of Advent, Karan Mehandru of Madrona and Phil Inagaki of Xora Innovation each issued statements backing the round. Vinci plans to expand to vehicles, aircraft, satellites, memory and advanced computing, competing with Cadence and Synopsys. OpenAI and Synopsys are reportedly working on a separate AI model for chip-design workflows. No contested claims or dissenting framing appear in the sources.
