Ulysses Tykee Davis, a 47-year-old Warfield Theatre security guard known as “Bear,” was shot and killed around 1 a.m. Saturday after a “Baddies USA” event in San Francisco. Relatives said he was escorting a disruptive woman from the venue when she allegedly shot him in the back; his wife and two of his six children witnessed the shooting. Police are investigating the killing and whether the venue had the required permits, while accounts from theater employees described a chaotic evacuation shortly before gunfire.
