Texas Tech is pushing to repeat as Big 12 champions across football and expand its high-level momentum with a strong transfer portal influx, a healthy quarterback Will Hammond, and a fortified defense, signaling the program’s sustained championship push. The Red Raiders’ rising recruiting profile, including a top-10 national class for 2027 and standout additions, underlines a long-term trajectory that extends beyond the football field, while even the soccer program opens its season with optimism as it hosts Boise State.
