George Kittle publicly defended the 49ers’ handling of Brandon Aiyuk’s contract dispute and social-media feud, saying the organization has tried to resolve it properly and that he knows more than he can share. Aiyuk remains under contract but is on the reserve/left squad list without pay after voiding guarantees from his 2024 extension amid rehab questions, while signaling a wish to join the Washington Commanders.
