UK Cancels BATUK Training in Kenya Over Licenses

The United Kingdom has cancelled planned BATUK exercises in Laikipia, Kenya, after Kenyan authorities did not issue the necessary licenses, with the training now set to take place at an alternative location outside Kenya. While London emphasizes the strength of the UK-Kenya Defence Partnership, the cancellation will affect local communities economically that had been expected to benefit from the exercises.
