About Christian Menefee

Christian Dashaun Menefee is an American politician and attorney who has been serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 18th congressional district since February 2026. A member of the Democratic Party, Menefee previously served as County Attorney for Harris County, Texas, from 2021 to 2026. He was the youngest person and the first African-American to hold the office.
